I have strong passion for photography. To me, it's more than just capturing a moment; it's about telling a story. I try in whatever I capture to evoke that story or emotion, authentically, for every subject I photograph.

Creative Projects: Showcasing recent projects I have had the honor to partake in to sharing what inspires me from other creators to locations I scout out for future projects, this blog will be a hub for creative energy.
Photography Tips: For fellow photographers or hobbyists; I'll offer advice on how I use the sun as my natural light source, what I look for when I compose shots, what I do to find locations for shoots, or how I go about editing my work and what gear I use.
Travel Adventures: My favorite thing to do is load up my hiking gear, grab my camera gear and hit the trails. I'll post new locations and some of my favorite locations you should check out if you are an outdoor junkie like myself.

A Little About Me
I've had the honor of growing up around creative friends and family. Anywhere from painters, horticulturist, seamstress, potters, woodworkers, chefs, musicians and photographers; I've grown up and learned from them. I think that is a prime reason why I label myself a creator. I love to create no matter the medium. I started to pick up a camera back in 2020 and fell in love. By 2024 I decided to pursue this as a business and created Jacob Stillwell Photography LLC. I am extremely honored to live in a country and state that allows creatives like me to purse their dreams and make them a business owner. I'm excited for this next chapter in my journey and I look forward to the relationships, life experiences, and opportunties I'll come across along the way.
