WWII REENACTMENT

I got to the opportunity to visit a WWII reenactment from 1944 called "Operation Anvil" that my hometown hosts on an annual basis. This was my first time ever seeing a reenactment. My overall goal for what I was able to capture that day was to make the images feel as authentic as possible. I wanted to pay homage to the veterans and those still serving today. So many monumental images were caught on a camera during wars from very renowned photojournalist and war correspondents. I find true inspiration from seeing photos taken by our forefathers and I hope one day the photos I take during my photography journey inspire the next generation to come. I hope you enjoy the moments I captured on a very humbling and awesome experience.
